How do I send you my database?
Logon to lo.usherpa.com with your username (your email address) and your password. Go to the My Account tab in the top right hand corner and from the drop down box “Send us a File”.

This action will take you to the "Send Us a File" page, where you will choose the file type
Please make sure that you label your upload correctly. If you upload your file as “All Types”, please make sure Customers, Business Partners and Prospects are clearly marked in the file. The contact type designates the product the contact will receive so the contact type must be designated before they go into the system.

What is the best format?
Excel is the best format. .csv (Comma Separated Values) and .txt (text) files work as well. We can take word files but excel is preferred.
What if my database is not in a digital format?
You can mail your database to Usherpa at this address: 7887 E. Belleview Ave., Suite 1250. Denver, CO 80111
Please make sure you make copies and send us the copies. KEEP the originals. If your database is lost in the mail, there would be nothing we could do to recover that for you. The turn time for manual data entry can be anywhere from 15 to 20+ business days depending on how many we have in our queue. We do have an excel template we can send you if you wanted to enter your contacts into excel. Our digital turn time is between 7 and 10 Business Days.
What should I include in my database?
- We will need a way to market to the contacts, they should have at least an email address or an address. All contacts should have a first and last name.
- If you have loan information please be sure to include a funded date or a close date.
- Please make sure that your file has a header. We prefer not to guess what the information is to keep your database as accurate as possible.
- These contacts must know you. We are a relationship based marketing program and have a strict zero tolerance spam policy. We limit all business partners (realtors and sales agents) to 200 per member. There is no limit to customers you have closed loans for. See our policy below.

Email Policy
Usherpa follows the strict permission-based guidelines of the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003. This means that Usherpa has a zero tolerance spam policy. Usherpa only supports permission-based Email marketing campaigns. That means that every recipient must have given his or her permission to receive email from the Loan Officer. This permission may consist of recipients with whom the Loan Officer have a pre-existing relationship defined as someone who the Loan Officer has done a loan or loan application for, as well as selling and listing Realtors involved in these transactions. The Loan Officer may from time to time add Realtors or other business partners to their database with whom they have had offline contact, such as a face to face meeting. In order to limit the possibility of Realtors being contacted by more than one Usherpa member and to comply with the CAN-SPAM Act, business partner lists are limited to two hundred (200). Customer lists are limited to fifty friends and family. There is no limit to the number of customers who have closed a loan with the Loan Officer or are in process with the Loan Officer.
